the Apollo 15 Lunar Module, Falcon in July 1971.

This large US Flag measures 11 x 7.5 inches and was flown to the Lunar Surface aboard the Apollo 15 Lunar Module, Falcon. The flag comes from the personal collection of Commander, Dave Scott, who also supplies a COA.
Scott has also inscribed the flag itself - "Flown To The Surface of the Moon on Apollo 15 Dave Scott Apollo 15 CDR"
Large flags flown on Apollo are far rarer than the more common 6x4 inch versions, which makes this flag almost 4 times the area of a standard flag.
Flag size 11x7.5 inches - Overall frame size 18 x 16.5 inches.
