11x8 inch Large US Flag flown to the Moon aboard
the Apollo 14 mission in Feb 1971.

This large US Flag measures 11x8 inches and was flown to Lunar Orbit aboard the Apollo 14 Command Module, Kittyhawk. The flag comes from the personal collection of Lunar Module Pilot, Edgar Mitchell, who also supplies a COA.
Mitchell has also inscribed the flag itself - "Flown To The Moon Aboard Apollo 14 Edgar Mitchell "
Large flags flown on Apollo are far rarer than the more common 6x4 inch versions, which makes this flag almost 4 times the area of a standard flag.
Flag size 11x8 inches - Overall frame size 18.5 x 18 inches.
