This 8.75" x 9" Beta Cloth bearing the Apollo 10 Emblem, flew to the Moon on the full dress rehersal flight for the first Moon landing, Apollo 10. It was the first manned flight with both the Command Module and Lunar Module taken to Lunar Orbit.
The patch is made from Beta Cloth, which is a special fire resistant material that was used in a variety of items onboard the Apollo missions to reduce risk of fire in the wake of the Apollo 1 tragedy.
This Beta cloth has been signed by all 3 crew members, Gene Cernan, John Young and Tom Stafford, who has also inscribed the cloth as, "Flown To The Moon On Apollo X, May 18-26 1969"
