This approx 8x8 inch Apollo 14 beta cloth patch flew to the moon aboard the command module KittyHawk on the Apollo 14 mission from January 31-February 9, 1971. It came originally from the personal collection of Apollo 14 Lunar Module Pilot, Edgar Mitchell who has also inscribed the Beta Cloth, "Flown To The Moon On Apollo 14, Edgar Mitchell"
The Beta Cloth has been framed using archival materials, above a brass plaque which reads, "Apollo 14 Flown Beta Cloth Patch - This Apollo 14 emblem printed on fire proof Beta cloth was flown to lunar orbit aboard the Apollo 14 mission and is from the personal collection of Edgar Mitchell'
Framed with gold wooden frame to an overall size of 13 x 15.5 inches - Some small signs of handling to the frame.
