Apollo 9 Flown LM Cue Card
LM Cue Card which flew on the first ever flight of a Lunar Module in space during the Apollo 9 mission
From The Personal Collection of Jim McDivitt
Price - SOLD

This LM Cue Card measuring 6.5" x 7.5" was Flown to Earth Orbit on Apollo 9 - one of the most significant steps in all of the early Apollo flights as it was the Lunar Module's first test flight in space.
This particular Lunar Module cue card is entitled "TPI 0 UPDATE (P34)" (Terminal Phase Initiation) The purpose of TPI was to begin the final approach and docking procedures necessary to dock the Command Module and the Lunar Module in Earth orbit after the first free flight of the LM. It comes from McDivitt's collection, and includes a McDivitt hand signed LOA
Jim McDivitt has signed and inscribed the rear side as follows:
"FLOWN ON APOLLO 9 "SPIDER" - Jim McDivitt"
The rear side is also fascinating in that the velcro tabs (all 3 of them) are still attached, so the card could be affixed to the LM control panel.
What makes this card particulary valuable is the extensive amount of hand written annotations made whilst in space. These numbers were read up to the LM from Houston, and were noted down in the grid provided on the card
This exchange is actually recorded in the mission audio which is transcribed below:
The numbers in yellow above, match the annotations on the front side of the cue card below

The rear side with McDivitt inscription "FLOWN ON APOLLO 9 "SPIDER" - Jim McDivitt" and 3 tabs of Velcro
