Apollo 11 Classic Visor Photo Signed by Buzz Aldrin 16x20 inch
This 16x20 inch Apollo 11 photo has been hand signed by Apollo 11 Lunar Module Pilot Buzz Aldrin, in silver ink on Fuji Crystal Archive paper.
This is probably the most famous photo from the Apollo missions and one of the most famous photos of the 20th Century. It shows Buzz standing on the lunar surface at Tranqulity base. Taken by Neil Armstrong, this photo shows how desolate the Apollo 11 landing site was with no deceranable landscape features in the landscape. One interesting point, and the reason this is known as the 'Visor' shot, is because you can see Neil Armstrong reflected in Buzz's Visor. There were no good photos of Neil on the Moon, so this is one of the only photos that shows Neil.
