Apollo 16 Flown Parachute Material Acrylic/Lucite Display
This large acrylic block contains a segment of Apollo 16 Parachute Material that was flown to Lunar Orbit and eventually helped in the splashdown of Apollo 16 Command Module, Casper
Encapsulated inside this block of acrylic is a tri-angular piece of Parachute Material measuring 1.2 inches wide at the base and .5 inches high. This is an actual piece of Apollo 16 parachute material that flew to lunar orbit, it is extremely lightweight and thin which gives it an almost transparent appearance. The material floats in front of a mini Apollo 16 Moonpan depicting John Young and the lunar rover. Limited edition of only 40 Acrylics. Each comes with a numbered Moonpans COA.
The overall size of the block is 7 inches wide x 3 inches high x 1.5 inch thick.
