Apollo 15 Flown Large US Flag

This large US Flag measures 11.5 x 7.5 inches and was flown to Lunar Orbit aboard the Apollo 15 Command Module, Endeavour. The flag comes from the personal collection of Commander Dave Scott who also supplies his own signed COA.

Scott has also inscribed the flag itself - "Flown in Lunar Orbit for 6 Days aboard Apollo 15, Dave Scott, CDR" and also added an abbreviated inscription on the right side which reads, "A-15. CSM. Aug ’71, D"

Large flags flown on Apollo are far rarer than the more common 6x4 inch versions, which makes this flag almost 4 times the area of a standard flag.

Framed using archival materials and UV resistance glazing along with two 3 inch AB Emblem patches and brass plaque.

Flag size 11.5 x 7.5 inches - Overall frame size 17 x 16.5 inches.
