This Beta cloth crew patch flew to the moon aboard the command module Columbia on the Apollo 11 mission in July 1969. It came originally from the personal collection of Apollo 11 Lunar Module Pilot, Buzz Aldrin who has also inscribed the Beta Cloth, "Flown To The Moon On Apollo X1 , Buzz Aldrin"
The Beta Cloth has been cropped (before flight) to approx 4.25 x 4.5 and is mounted onto an oversize Apollo 11 Paper Certificate (approx 12 x 14.5") which reads, "This Beta Cloth Crew Patch Traveled To the Moon with Apollo 11, The First Manned Lunar Landing, July 20, 1969"
Comes with a Scott Cornish COA for the Buzz Aldrin signature and inscription and a Moonpans COA
