This Apollo 16 Embroidered Lion Brothers 4-inch mission patch flew to the moon aboard the command module Casper during the Apollo 16 mission in April 1972. It came originally from the personal collection of Apollo 16 Commander, John Young who's widow Susy has provided a signed COA
The patch is a Lion Brothers 4-inch patch which contains a hidden no. 16 stitched into it (see images below)
The flown patch has been framed below a partial 'Guided Tour' panorama hand signed and with certian features hand inscribed by Charlie Duke to an overall size of approx 28.5 x 17. The frame also includes an unflown NASA Vector patch and brass plaque
Comes with a Susy Young COA including the original packet with hologram sticker that held the patch and a Moonpans COA
