This Apollo 16 Embroidered AB Emblems 4-inch mission patch flew to the moon aboard the command module Casper during the Apollo 16 mission in April 1972. It came originally from the personal collection of Apollo 16 Commander, John Young who's widow Susy has provided a signed COA, which reads in part: "I hereby certify that the Apollo 16 "AB Emblem" Embroidered Mission Patch that accompanies this letter was flown to the Moon aboard the Apollo 16 mission April 16-27, 1972."
The patch is sealed inside a plastic sleeve with holographic tamper proof sticker #1745126 which matches the number on Susy Young's COA
