Apollo 11 East Crater Pan by Neil Armstrong

In order to take this Apollo 11 panorama of East Crater was Neil Armstrong had to travel a longer distance from the Lunar Module than the mission planners would have liked on safety grounds, but Neil Armstrong thought it would be worthwhile to take it anyway as it was the most significant feature on the otherwise barron landing site. Neil told me that the crater looked a lot larger in real life than it does on the photo, probably about 60-90 feet across and 15 feet deep.
