The manual contains dozens of illustrations and diagrams with lots of interesting facts, figures and info on how the Apollo spacecaft flew to the moon. it is divided into 5 main sections: General, Modules, Subsystems, Support and Reference

The inner chapters are seperated by 34 card stock dividers including: Apollo Program, Apollo Spacecraft, Launch Vehicles, Missions, The Moon, Manned Space Program, Apollo Flight Tests, Command Module, Service Module, Lunar Module, Spacecraft LM Adapter, Crew, Displays and Controls, Docking, Earth Landing.

The manual is housed in its original three-ring binder. In good overall condition but some of the card stock chapter dividers have become rippled as well as the right hand signatures page. The signatures on the left page have bled through to the rear side with slight haloing to a few of the signatures. Some pages have added reinforcements over the punched holes.
