This piece of the Moon fell to Earth as part of a larger Lunar Meteorite called NWA 11303. It was eventually discovered in North West Africa. The piece in this presentation weighs 3.33g and measures approx 20mm across. The Meteorite has been certified by Geoff Notkin of the TV Show Meteorite Men.

We have housed the meteorite in a way that makes a stunning display case but which is open-able, allowing you to lift the front face and actually hold the Moon rock in your hand.

The background features an Apollo 17 Panorama of the Split Rock at Station 6, with the following wording: "THE ROCK BELOW IS A GENUINE PIECE OF THE MOON - WHICH WAS BLASTED INTO SPACE WHEN A LARGE METEORITE STRUCK THE LUNAR SURFACE AND THE DEBRIS EVENTUALLY FELL TO EARTH AS PART OF LUNAR METEORITE NWA 11303 WHICH IS CLASSIFIED AS A LUNAR FELDSPATHIC BRECCIA"

The display case measures approx 13.75 x 9.5 inches, and has a hinged front window, with metal latches to hold it shut.

Comes with a plastic table stand.

Comes with a small Authenticity card signed by Geoff Notkin and a Moonpans COA
