This 5.5 x 4 inch US Flag was flown to Earth Orbit aboard the STS-1, the first ever flight of the Space Shuttle, piloted by legendary Astronaut John Young and Bob Crippen
The flag is attached to a card certificate measuring 8.5 x 11 inches made out to Richard M Gilley - a woker on the STS- mission, and contains printed signatures of Young and Crippen. Good condition with visible glue residue behind the flag
