Dick Gordon Collection - Apollo 12 Flown Food Re-hydration Package

This un-used food re-hydration package was flown to Lunar Orbit during the Apollo 12 mission in November 1969 and comes directly from the personal collection of
Apollo 12 CMP, Dick Gordon.
PRICE -$4,995

This Apollo 12 Flown Food Re-hydration package has been consigned to Moonpans directly by Apollo 12 Command Module Pilot, Dick Gordon and measures 5 x 7.5 inches. Normally freeze dried food would have been placed in the bag via the plastic-zippered seal at the top. Hot or cold water would then be injected in via the nozzle on the left to rehydrate the food ready for consumption. Its very rare to find an un-used Apollo Flown food package, which could have been used as a backup should another food package had split, or could potentially have been used solely as a water drinking bag.

It has been signed and inscribed by Gordon, "Flown to the Moon on Apollo 12, Richard Gordon CMP".

Comes with Dick Gordon COA
